SEVILLE, SPAIN – Euro NCAP, a leading vehicle safety organization, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Data for Road Safety (DFRS) during the 16th ITS European Congress 2025. The event is hosted by the City of Seville and ERTICO-ITS, focusing on advancing intelligent transport systems across Europe.
This partnership aims to enhance road safety by combining Euro NCAP’s expertise in vehicle safety ratings with DFRS’s advanced data analytics and road safety insights. Both organizations will collaborate to develop better safety standards and promote innovative solutions that can reduce accidents and save lives on European roads.
The MoU will enable the sharing of critical data and technologies, encouraging cooperation among manufacturers, policymakers, and safety advocates. Through this alliance, the partners plan to create more informed policies and improve public awareness about road safety.
Experts believe this collaboration will accelerate the deployment of smart safety systems in vehicles and infrastructure, helping Europe meet its ambitious road safety goals.
