Between 100,000 and 200,000 people marched in Budapest at the 30th Pride event on Saturday, marking one of the largest gatherings ever seen for Pride in the city. This event celebrated LGBTQ+ rights and diversity, drawing widespread attention across Europe.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán criticized the march, calling it “disgusting and shameful.” He claimed the event was organized under the influence of Brussels, referring to the European Union’s capital, suggesting political motivation behind the event.
